There was talk of rainbow coloured candied lenses.
There was a time when the perspective was a pretty one, a sweet one. There was a time when it did not matter what we did, what we said. There was a time we could just run around, build sandcastles, play dress up, eat all the ice cream and watch all the television.
But the time of cotton candy, arcade games and wishful abandon for consequence has past.
